two nights action packed Easter racing at Timmis Raceway

Timmis Maxi Moves Race way in Deakin Avenue Mildura South has been the scene for two nights of successful racing over the Easter period.

On the Friday night program South Australian Alan Tapley won the South Australian Wingless Sprinter trail, with local Travis Beasley second and Daniel Smith third.

On Sunday night the main event winners were Darren Kane (Late Models) Mark Jennings (Street Stocks) and Dean Heseltine (AMCA Nationals).

Both Kane and Heseltine were remarkable back to back winners on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday night.

On Friday night there were two spectacular crashes in the Wingless Sprints event although both drivers were not hurt.

Joel Chadwick was sore and bruised after his vehicle flipped and a short time later Jay Brown escaped injury in a rollover.

On Sunday night in the seventh heat of the South Australian AMCA State title Jake Armstrong had a spectacular crash when pushed into the outside fence, causing his vehicle to roll over before coming to rest right side up but across the track.
