MILLEWA FOOTBALL LEAUGE SCORES finals

Steadiness in the dying minutes allowed Bambill to survive a late challenge from Nangiloc and go into Millewa League Grand Final after an exciting second semi final at Cardross on Saturday.

Late goals to Brad Thomas were the decider as the brilliant Robert Lindsay booted seven goals in the second half to almost lone handed bring about a Nangiloc victory.

Bambill won the game in the first quarter with a seven goal burst which forced Nangiloc to play catch up football for the remainder of the day.

Nangiloc had injury worries with brothers Ryan and Lachlan Dowdy both being hampered by leg injuries during the course of the match.

Earlier in the second semi final Werrmull led Gol Gol for most of the day after getting the match winning break in the second quarter.

Jamie Russell kicked five goals in the first half to give the Maspies a handy lead over a persistant Gol Gol,
